- Do you know anything about the Software Maturity Model? I would
- suggest those that use "foo", etc. in real code are stuck at the
- "Level 1" (chaotic) stage, which is what is wrong with much of the
- code written these days. Students might think such usage is OK
- since they saw such mnemonics used in college by their profs. The
- academics aren't helping create good software engineers.
